Past perfect


Past perfect expresses the idea that somethig ocurred before another action i the past.

structure

SUBJECT + Had + Verb in past participle + Complement


Examples:
Resultado de imagen para broken heart
Damian had begun a new realtionship



By the time he was 19, he had already graduated from college.



I went to Asia for the first time when i was 22.
